During the Second Saturday Art Walk each month in Old Town Bay St. Louis, you'll find cool deals, fresh meals and lots of art and live music all day, but the action heats up between 4 and 7 pm. 

​This specially themed Second Saturday art walk in July – Frida Fest – celebrates the birthday of iconic artist Frida Kahlo with an extraordinary costume contest and a fiesta of other special happenings!  This event has quickly become one of the absolutely do-not-miss annual celebrations on the coast.


July's Hot Spots are Social Chair, 201 Main Street;  PJ's, 207 Main Street; and  Sassy Bird Interiors, 122 Court Street. Read more about these featured businesses below!

Established by Yuki Northington in 2006, Social Chair emerged post-Hurricane Katrina as a symbol of hope and renewal, offering unique and upscale décor to help residents rebuild their homes.
 
Over the years, Social Chair has evolved into a fashion-forward paradise for women who love a bit of sparkle. This Second Saturday, July 13, the store joins in the celebration of the 9th Annual Frida Fest, honoring the life and art of Frida Kahlo. From 4 to 6 pm, enjoy the live tunes of the Kevin & Richard Duo while exploring Social Chair’s stylish offerings.

To celebrate Frida Fest, Social Chair is offering a special 10% discount on all purchases for customers dressed as Frida. Additionally, BSL Sillipint Cups will be 40% off. Shoppers can also participate in door prize drawings with every purchase of $25 or more between 4 and 6 pm.
 
While Social Chair is normally open on Saturdays until 5, on Second Saturday the store will stay open until 7 pm, giving you extra time to find the perfect gift for a loved one or treat yourself to something special.
