The Reception

Picture
Wedding reception music: John Farve with Wild Hogs

Catering: Bride's mother and brother-in-law, Alex, Groom's mother and father,  Groom's Uncle Bobby Richardson and Aunt Lisa Haas, Trapani's Eatery (meatballs and red gravy)

The Reception Menu:  Nanny's Pork Roast on Pistolettes, Shrimp and Grits, Cold Shrimp Pasta, Jambalaya, Mini meatballs with red gravy, Hot Shrimp Pasta, Quinoa Salad, Olive Garden style salad, Chicken Alfredo

The Most Talked About Food Item: Nanny's Pork Roast and Shrimp and Grits

Cakes by: Janet Gillingham
Favorite toast: At the reception Chari Favre, even though we missed it from being outside taking pictures. She didn't realize we were not in the building until we walked inside. I heard it was great. She repeated quotes from Brent's late grandmother Ruby Thomas; Her birthday was also the day of the wedding. Also:  at the rehearsal dinner Mac Metzler's toast was the funniest and Leanne Murray's was the most heartfelt.

Best Dancer at the Reception: Brent's godson Christian Haas. He has the moves like Jagger!

The "wow factor" of your wedding/reception that everyone talked about: During the wedding that our two-year-old actually walked me down the aisle. You would of thought we rehearsed this for months.

Everyone keeps mentioning how elegant and intimate the reception was. Everyone raved about the food, John playing the music that was enjoyed by all, and the uniqueness of historic 100 Men Hall. They even have mentioned how sweet and awesome Jessica was. I believe she had as many compliments as the hall and food combined!

The most unique detail of your wedding/reception: The 100 Men Hall building. The building has so much history and Kerri and Jessie have done an amazing job restoring it!

Lighting: Sean Sullivan with Southern Event Productions. He did such a great job!

Rentals:  Southern Event Rentals and ABC Rental

Staff:  Labat's Crystal and Jancie. They were so sweet and joy to have)

Bride's favorite part of the entire event: Being introduced as Mr & Mrs Richardson for the first time, and sharing a special intimate occasion with close family and friends.

Groom's favorite part of the entire event: Seeing my family and friends enjoying the evening and night. But most of all marrying my best friend!

Bridesmaid- floral robe and gold initial necklace
Readers (women)- gold knot bracelet
