ART.BSL - Episode Two

In the second episode of this new, locally produced podcast, host Steve Barney, the “Mad Podder,” goes to Waveland’s Juneteenth celebration and learns to play chess. Then it’s an epic battle of crab claws and White Claws as Kerry Maloney eats and drinks her way across Crab Fest.

You'll also meet Bruce Northridge, Tish Williams, and Beau Gex and hear from Shoofly events editor, Ana “Calendar Gal” Balka.

It’s a quick refresher on the basics of chess with Ann Steinmetz. Ann and Steve concoct a scheme to make life-sized chess pieces from found objects.
