Be A Tourist In Your Own Community
Over the next 5 months the Hancock County Tourism Bureau will be highlighting our communities and some of the unique activities for visitors and locals. This month we feature the city of Diamondhead!

The public is welcome in Diamondhead, which offers Tennis World, golf, Diamondhead Marina, Diamondhead Airport, dining, and parks and recreation. Live entertainment is offered Thursday and Friday evenings.
Their full-service restaurant features an excellent a la carte menu, chef specials, lunch and dinner specials and a fabulous Sunday Brunch. Thursdays are karaoke night, and Friday nights feature live entertainment and dancing in the 19th Hole Bar & Grill.
Parks and Recreation
In addition to the great amenities they offer all residents and visitors, Diamondhead has several trails fit for walking, cycling, hiking and more.
One new site is the Maluhia Garden. The Maluhia Garden is a volunteer-maintained, contribution-funded garden designed as a pleasing site for walking and enjoying nature. The garden’s property was originally owned by Diamondhead Property Owners Association (POA) but was turned over to the City of Diamondhead.
Through fundraisers, grants and donations of horticulture, material and labor, the garden has been landscaped and developed with 11 flower beds bordered with castle wall bricks, a watering system, power to key areas in the garden, three bridges, a flagpole and seating area for VFW Post 2880, a gazebo, a gardener’s retreat, 900 feet of walkway, 470 feet of fencing, a sign designating the garden, and a dedication brick installation area shaped like the Diamondhead logo.
Most recently, a Blue Star Memorial Byway marker was installed and dedicated as part of a veteran’s memorial area.
