We are in a typical summertime pattern now, with speckled trout and redfish bringing the excitement to our waters. Don't stop looking for tripletail, either!

Huge bull reds like this one caught with Captain Josh Ellis in the Louisiana marsh should be around for the next couple of weeks.
The fish are everywhere in our local waters - if you have the stamina to start before dawn and fish until you're poached in the August sun. Just kidding, but do take precautions for the heat.
