To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, the Shoofly Magazine, in conjunction with publisher University Press of Mississippi, published 12 chapters excerpted from the award-winning book Under Surge, Under Siege by survivor/writer Ellis Anderson.
Anderson's on-the-ground account follows Bay St. Louis through the very heart of Hurricane Katrina – and three years of grinding aftermath.
Note: Readers will find a disconnect between some selected chapters published here since the book is comprised of 25 chapters.
