On South Second Street, each Final Friday of the month a magical double-header delights Bay residents and visitors. The night market (see above) coincides with the opening of new art shows, right next door at both Smith & Lens Gallery (106 S. Second St.) and Gallery Edge 112 South Second St.).
All of it's family-friendly! Think bikes and hula-hoops and children dancing to live music and adults shopping and visiting in our balmy fall air. This is why we live here and everybody else wants to.

Headliner Michael Grimm, the local musical powerhouse who won America's Got Talent will be performing with Will Kimbrough and the Bay St. Louis Marching Battery on the grounds of the historic BSL Depot.
The free concert benefits the non-profit Starfish Café's capital fund that will help them purchase their Main Street building. Donations will be "happily accepted" all day, with limited VIP seating for $30 per person.
The popular restaurant has become a mainstay for those who like to eat for both heath and flavor - they'll be serving up food at the Starfish Fest, along with Fatsumo's from Pass Christian and Williams Pit BBQ.
And from noon til sunset, there'll be a Vendor Palooza, with local artists and vendors offering wares for sale.
This should be a great wind-up for the big Cruisin' the Coast weekend!
