1. Shoofly Facebook
Market your event, organization or business on our extremely robust Facebook page!
- The Shoofly Magazine Facebook page has an organic following of 8,000+ and markets mostly to the Mississippi coast, New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Jackson.
- The posts must consist of a photo - no flyers, logos or graphics. We'll use the caption of your choice.*
- To keep from overwhelming our followers, we limit Facebook ads to one every two weeks, first-come, first-served. You can reserve/pay in advance for busy times of year like the holidays, Mardi Gras and Cruisin' the Coast.
- Need a professional photo to run? We can take pro-quality high-resolution photos for you. You keep them all, using your favorite for the Facebook ad. (Five images - $125, ten images $200).
- FB page posts (includes $20 in regional boost**) - $150
- FB Cover for one week - $75
*Not all photos are consistent with our Shoofly branding, so we reserve the right to refuse Facebook ads. No political ads.
**What's a "boost?" We pay social media companies to show your post to an even larger audience.

2. Shoofly Instagram
- Market your event, organization or business on our high quality Shoofly Magazine Instagram page! We have a very loyal following of 1300+ (and growing), with a regional reach!
- The posts must consist of a photo - no flyers, logos or graphics. We'll use the caption of your choice. To keep from overwhelming our followers, we limit Shoofly Instagram ads to one every two weeks, first-come, first-served. You can reserve/pay in advance for busy times of year like the holidays, Mardi Gras and Cruisin' the Coast.

3. Email Ads
- Our weekly emails listing new stories and features go out to 3,900 subscribers who all signed up to receive them. Invalid addresses are automatically purged, keeping our list lively!
- We limit ads to one per email, letting yours shine! Available on a first-come, first-served basis. You can reserve/pay in advance for busy times of year like the holidays, Mardi Gras and Cruisin' the Coast.
- Ads consist of one photo/graphic of your choice and up to 50 words of copy. Image and text link to your website, event or Facebook page.
- Ad in our weekly email - $125
- Ad in French Quarter Journal email (our younger sister publication). Email goes out to 1600 subscribers (we accept these at our discretion). - $150

4. Premium Listings
- Our "Local Living" directories offer FREE text ads to most Bay-Waveland businesses. Premium listings (which average about $12 a month) move up toward the top of your category and include a logo, a 50-word description and two links to your website or Facebook page.
- We promote the directories regularly on Facebook and in our emails.
- We update the directories at least twice each year.

5. Feature Story
Nothing beats a good story to get the word out about your business! And we've been supporting local businesses for years telling those stories. We have 4,000 subscribers (May 2020) and anywhere from 6,000 - 12,000 readers per month.
- Feature story about the event or business with boosts/emails, published two weeks in advance as sponsored content (includes writer, set up, social media postings and $20 of boosts, you provide professional photos) - $450
- Every story looks better with professional photographs. We'll supply you with a professional photographer and edited shots to use with your story. You'll also get the high resolution photo files and be able to use the photos without credit for website, social media or advertising (Five images - $125, ten images $200).

6. Community Calendar
- Listings on our enormously popular Community Calendar are free for Bay St. Louis and Waveland events (click here to submit yours). We also provide free listings for events held by our Annual Sponsors outside Bay-Waveland. We're able to provide this community service thanks to our Annual Sponsors and reader supporters.
- If you're in Diamondhead, Hancock County or Pass Christian, calendar listings can be purchased for $50. See samples below.
- The photo at the top of the Community Calendar page is called the "header" image. It's the first thing any page visitor sees. It's also the image that thousands of Facebook followers see each week when we promote the page. You can purchase that spot for your event (public events only, no sales, etc.).

Our Upcoming Events page is another one of our most popular pages featuring curated events with a photo, details and description. We provide these listings free for most major Hancock County events.
