Bay St. Louis native Courtney Peterson is a neighbor you can trust when seeking advice to manage your investment portfolios, personal finances, and retirement plans.

Born and raised in Bay St. Louis, Peterson attended the University of Southern Mississippi and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. “I have always had a strong interest in economics and monitoring the different markets,” says Peterson. Although her work as a wealth management advisor takes her all over the Mississippi Gulf South, Peterson looks forward to returning to her home in Waveland, where she lives with her husband, Eddie, and their two children. “We have been married for 14 years,” says Peterson. “Our son will start 7th grade at St. Stanislaus, and my daughter will start 3rd grade at St. Vincent de Paul.” In the spring of 2021 Peterson began working in the Wealth Management department of Community Bank, where she is honored to be a part of “such a wonderful company,” she exudes, one that takes pride in taking care of their customers, a priority that Peterson herself has wholeheartedly adopted. “I love having the opportunity to build lifelong relationships with my customers. It’s the most important and rewarding part for me.” As far as Peterson is concerned, everyone can benefit from Wealth Management’s services, regardless of their situation or circumstances. “Every day and every client provides a new experience, and I am able to help guide them through a very important process that will help define their future.” Founded over a century ago in Forrest, an east-central Mississippi timber town, Community Bank’s mission statement focuses on customer service and giving back to the communities they serve. Peterson embraces this vision in both her personal and professional life. “I love my customers. Getting to know them personally and seeing their progress is the best part,” explains Peterson. “I really love having a small part in their lives that can make a big difference in the long haul.” The Bay St. Louis Wealth Management division of Community Bank is, as promised, highly involved in the local community. Its staff are members of the Hancock Chamber of Commerce and frequent sponsors for local charitable events. Peterson herself is also a Rotarian and was recently honored as an Outstanding New Rotarian of 2023. “We are willing to help in any way and cannot wait to see our growth develop in the community and how it impacts all that reside here,” says Peterson. “We will continue to support and sponsor events for nonprofits as the opportunities present themselves.” Enjoy this feature?Comments are closed.
