In the heart of the Bay St. Louis Depot District a fashion sensation has taken flight, and it's soaring high with a new location that's set to capture the hearts of folks of all ages and sizes. Fly Boutique, a beloved Mississippi fashion brand, opened its fifth location in 2022, bringing its unique blend of style and charm to Bay St. Louis.

With its headquarters in Picayune and existing stores in Gulfport and Hattiesburg, this latest addition to the Fly Boutique family marks a significant milestone in the boutique’s journey.

The roots of Fly Boutique trace back to 2005, when entrepreneur Tessie Putnam ventured into a partnership in a small children's boutique. However, as her two daughters blossomed into young ladies, Tessie decided to bid farewell to the children's clothing store. Her unwavering passion for fashion and a deep connection with the shop's clientele kindled a new dream. In 2010, Tessie launched her first adult clothing store, Fly Boutique, and from that moment it took flight. Over the course of a dozen years and the establishment of four more locations, Tessie's vision has become a thriving, family-run franchise that graces the greater Gulf Region of Mississippi.

Fly Boutique scours the country for “quality clothing lines that will make our customers feel stylish and beautiful,” as Tessie herself puts it. This commitment ensures a wide range of styles and sizes for all while presenting the latest trends at wallet-friendly prices.

Fly Boutique boasts a diverse inventory that caters to all your fashion and accessory cravings. Among its offerings, you'll discover a well-loved men's clothing section and an array of renowned brands like Kendra Scott, Consuela Bags, Vintage Havana, BuDhaGirl, and Tyler Candles. Whether you prefer to browse their sleek brick-and-mortar stores or explore their robust online store at ShopFlyBoutique.com, Fly Boutique stands ready to serve your fashion needs.

Surrounded by lush palm trees and adorned with vibrant tropical colors, The Blind Tiger's flagship location stands tall at 119 North Beach Boulevard in the heart of Old Town Bay St. Louis. This iconic business has become a beloved fixture in the Gulf Coast dining scene. With its laid-back atmosphere, family-friendly ambiance, and a menu that boasts a delectable fusion of island flavors and Southern comfort, The Blind Tiger is an experience like no other.

Owner Thomas Genin sought inspiration in his travels through the Bahamas and the Caribbean, where he fell in love with the casual bars, open-air settings, and the delicious food served in off-the-beaten-path places. This passion culminated in the birth of The Blind Tiger, a restaurant that brings the island experience to you, no plane tickets required.

The small bar with an island vibe that transports patrons to far-off tropical locales was an instant hit and quickly led to an expansion on both the north and south sides of the restaurant to accommodate patrons. As a family-friendly establishment, it's not just the adults who revel in the casual environment and mouth-watering cuisine. Parents can relax on the patio while enjoying live music, savoring great food, and sipping on handcrafted cocktails. Meanwhile, kids can embark on a treasure hunt in the sandbox—a delightful distraction that keeps the whole family entertained.

The Blind Tiger spoils its guests with a delightful array of weekly specials, including a rejuvenating Happy Hour available from Monday to Thursday, between 4-6 pm, offering enticing drink specials that are the perfect remedy for unwinding after a long day. On Taco Tuesdays, patrons can savor $3 beef or chicken tacos or indulge in shrimp or Mahi tacos, all for just $9.99. Thursdays bring a regal treat with TBT’s Royal Reds special, priced at a mere $15. As the weekend approaches, The Blind Tiger’s menu expands to Snow Crab clusters, tantalizing chargrilled oysters, and a rotating selection of daily specials and amazing drinks.

The Blind Tiger is all set to take center stage as one of the featured hot spots for the upcoming Second Saturday on October 14. On this special occasion, music enthusiasts can groove to the tunes of 2Left of Center on the patio from 5 to 9 pm. Additionally, throughout Second Saturday, patrons can indulge in unique food and drink specials.
