- by Lisa Monti
Vendors will be offering a variety of foods and treats including Dominos for pizza, snowballs by Kona Ice of Gulfport, more snowballs from The Funkee Money plus iced coffees, loaded teas and juices for the kids. Coasty’s will serve street tacos and corn plus burgers and Meatbawl’s will have Jamaican jerk chicken. Sugar Beans will be cooking up sweet waffles, cinnamon rolls, tacos and pulled pork sandwiches. City officials plan to make this family-friendly July 4th celebration an annual event that residents and visitors can look forward to every summer. Mayor Nancy Depreo said, “We are very excited for the city’s first annual fireworks display. Monster Crawfish will be playing from 6 to10 pm. There will be plenty of good food and drinks. Fireworks will begin at 9 pm. We hope everyone comes out and has a great time!” Enjoy this feature?
