Want to look years younger or feel re-energized but don't want something as drastic as plastic surgery? VSPA invites you to check out their non-surgical options.
“These procedures are not plastic surgery and are more economical and require much less down time,” Duplantier said. “Women so often put themselves last. They are so busy with home, careers and children they just can’t make time to do something special just for themselves. Our spa gives them so many options without taking a lot of time from their busy schedules.” MonaLisa Touch has been offered by VSPA since it opened. It is an outpatient procedure using fractional CO2 laser energy to treat certain common post-menopausal problems. Latisse, the first FDA-approved treatment clinically proven to grow eyelashes, also is among VSPA’s services. VSPA’s newest addition is IV therapy, which can provide immune system support, relief from colds and flu, athletic performance recovery and pregnancy symptom relief. Karyn Matheson, a registered nurse, is the new spa manager. “All of our practitioners are nurses who have been well trained in the procedures they perform,” said Duplantier. Duplantier has more than 10 years of training to inject Botox and other fillers and said she continues to receive training in new products as they become available. “All injections are performed by me after consultation with the patient to determine his/her expectations. “ Duplantier said she has a conservative, “less is more” approach to spa treatments and takes her patient’s budget into consideration. “My patients appreciate my approach, and I value the trust they have in my ability to achieve the results they desire. Seeing them so happy after a procedure is very rewarding.” VSPA also offers cosmetic medical-grade products that are available for purchase at the spa and online. “We want our patients to be happy with their results. We don’t hard-sell procedures or products. We want them to feel free to start small with only one or two services and come back when they’re ready for more. We always take their budget into consideration as well.” VSPA recently partnered with Vagaro webservices, which allows patients to schedule Viora appointments and purchase products. Patients can also receive notifications of special events and one-time deals. Vagaro can be found under the VSPA tab at https://www.hancockwomenscenter.net.
