The BSL Little Theatre’s “Stella Yelling Contest” meets BBQ and blues music for this annual festival. Phil “Smooth” Williams and the Electric Sheep were followed by Heather and the Monkey King in an extraordinary feel-good evening.
Third annual Old Town-wide creative blast of a festival! Contestants were cheered in the Songwriters’ Showcase, at the Culinary Showcase and the Flash Fiction contest. Attendees also enjoyed an Imagination Station for children, the Artists’ Showcase at participating merchants, an original short play at the courthouse and a juried show at 200 North Beach Restaurant.

Despite the parade being rescheduled until Sunday because of weather, the Krewe of Shamrockers, The Queens, and the Raw Oyster Marching Club tossed out bucketloads of beads, potatoes, carrots, and cabbage! - photos by Prima Luke
An annual Half-Marathon/Relay/5k: Runners love the wide, well-paved beach boardwalk the goes for miles from BSL and east along the coast, so it’s no surprise that race organizer Fit First had more than 500 people from 18 states to participate on the glorious spring morning! Plus: nine-year-old Gabby Osness won the state record for half-marathons for her age during the event!
