This interactive murder-mystery on April 16th revolved around a class reunion gone wrong (and which one isn't?). The ticket price included a dinner with salad, main course, dessert, and drink, and benefited St. Rose Catholic Church. A sold-out and enthusiastic crowd packed the St. Rose Holy Spirit Center.
On Saturday, April 16, Mississippi Public Broadcasting filmed engineer-turned-performance artist Steve Barney and his amazing Steampunk pottery contraption, ”Agile Argile" for their award-winning TV show Mississippi Roads. The crew filmed Steve hanging upside down, making pots with his head, and other crazy antics to make pottery, in a show designed to entertain and educate.
This family-friendly event featured the awesome fiddling of Waylon Thibodeaux at the historic 100 Men Hall in Bay St. Louis.
It was the fourth year for this fun annual event, a popular fund-raiser for the Friends of the Animal Shelter. Each year, a full English tea is served with savory and sweet goodies and there's also a silent auction. It was a record-breaking year - in terms of people participating and money raised: more than $5000 for the organizations programs!
