Fourth annual Old Town-wide creative blast of a festival with artists vying for prizes in the Songwriters’ Showcase, the Culinary Contest, the Fiction Contest and the Short Film Showcase. Demonstrating artists, a juried show and an Imagination Station Pottery Village for children rounded out a fantastic day in the Bay. Congrats to the team from The Arts, Hancock for the best event yet!

Organized in 1964, it’s the oldest Irish Parade on the Mississippi Coast. Hundreds of parade-going families on March 11th greeted the Krewe of Kinski, the Krewe of Shamrockers, The Queens, and the Raw Oyster Marching Club, catching beads, potatoes, carrots, and cabbage!

This krewe always throws a perfect Fat Tuesday parade and 2017 was their 10th anniversary. Known as the only predominantly African American parade on the Gulf Coast on Mardi Gras, it gets everyone out and celebrating the big day.
