The creative, fun-spirited vibe of Bay St. Louis got yet another chance to come out and play in costumes on August 24, at the Mockingbird Café in Old Town. The Bay St. Louis Trio played for a dancing crowd of "hippies in this family-fun event. Unlike the original festival, it didn't rain, so the evening ended with lots of smiles and sunny spirits.

The second annual FunFest 2, produced by the Alice Moseley Museum, featured a great line-up of performers, including Monsters at Large and Amanda Shaw. Festival admission is free, thanks to the museum and its volunteers!

St. Rose de Lima’s annual Celebration of Women marked its 20th year with the theme, “Empowering Women to Rise Up! Step Up! Move Up!”
The two-day celebration kicked off at noon on July 27 and concluded with morning Mass on July 28. The event was created in 1999 by St. Rose parishioner Judith Verrett, who was killed in a tragic car accident in 2016.
