A beloved Bay St. Louis Halloween event, the Cedar Rest Cemetery tour has been hosted by the Hancock County Historical Society for 28 years! Participants visit several tombs in the historic cemetery whose occupants have reemerged for the night to tell their stories. This year, stormy weather drove the ghosts and tour participants inside the HCHS headquarters a block away for hot dogs and refreshments and a telling of fascinating town history. - photos by Marian Glaser The Hancock County Historical Society is one of many community partners that makes the Shoofly Magazine possible!
