On July 3, staff at the Waveland Ground Zero Museum cut the ribbon to officially welcome the public to the Smithsonian’s Museum on Main Street exhibit, which will be on display from July 3 to August 14. Waveland was chosen to host “Crossroads” as part of the Smithsonian’s Museum on Main Street program, a partnership to bring exhibitions to rural cultural organizations. Waveland is the only host site on the Coast and one of only six in the state of Mississippi.
