On Saturday, September 10, the Mystic Krewe of the Seahorse converted the parking lot on the corner of Court Street and S. Beach Boulevard into an 18-hole mini-golf course for their third annual Seahorse Open “Pirate Tee Party” putt-putt tournament.
Participants of all ages competed for prizes for best score, and all were entered into a drawing for a super-prize gift basket. The event was held to benefit Brenda’s House Family Center, who works with the family court system to help children at risk. Their services include supervising family visits, teaching children coping skills, engaging families in learning, and providing respite for caregivers of children in the care of CPS.
