This Second Saturday is like no other! Participants purchase a one-of-a-kind bowl handcrafted by a local potter for $20. Purchasers can then take their new bowl to stores owned by participating members for a sample of scrumptious soups. When sales of the unique bowls began at 3 pm, visitors could be seen lining up around the block!
The local potters get a part of the sales, while the rest benefits the Hancock Food Pantry, Hancock Tourism and the Old Town Merchants Association (which puts on Second Saturdays and many other events through the year without any municipal funding).
