Take two of the South's most respected artists, lease them a vacant building in Waveland and Voila!  Magic happens!  New Orleans artists Mitchell and Erica Larkin Gaudet have opened Studio Waveland and the community-minded venture is a spectacular shot in the arm for our already vibrant arts scene!

They chose the longest day of the year - the summer solstice - for this major art show/dinner party in the street/mini-film fest.  Dozens of local and regional artists participated.  If you missed the opening event, you have until August 18th to stop by the gallery (Thurs., Fri, Sat., 11am - 5pm).
