Part of the Juneteenth weekend celebration, The 100 Women DBA, an organization to empower the business endeavors of under-represented women, hosted a peaceful March for Progress on Friday, June 19. More than 250 people marched from 100 Men Hall to the Hancock County Courthouse on Main Street. They listened to speakers, including Nicole Fairconeture, Rymsky Labat, Rachel Dangermond, BSL Police Chief Gary Ponthieux, Jr., Kaitlin Dorris and Rhonda Oliver.
