My students were accepted to participate in the MDOT Bridge building competition! The date was changed to the Monday after our wedding. After our breakfast on Sunday, we traveled to Jackson to watch my students compete! This is an amazing group of students who created their own blueprints in a professional CAD drawing program, conducted and wrote a research paper, created and presented their research and results, and.... earned 2nd place in the state of Mississippi! Each student also received a $100 gift card! We had a rewarding time in Jackson with these students and their families.
