On Friday, November 20, Bay brides can experience nearly every element of the perfect wedding at “The Experience by The Wedding Collection,” a bridal show orchestrated as an actual ceremony and reception – to help every bride envision what her wedding ceremony could be.
“Planning a wedding can be very stressful,” said Maycee Scardino, wedding planner and stylist at The Wedding Collection. “We love to make things easier for stressed-out brides. We know the best local venues, the best caterers, the best local entertainers, the best florists..."
"By taking advantage of our experience, you can skip the research and uncertainty and concentrate on appreciating the significance of this day in your life.”
The show will be held at the Bay St. Louis Community Hall at 301 Blaize Avenue between 6:30 and 9:00 pm, and tickets are $25.
Brides will receive a welcome bag of goodies when they arrive, along with two drink tickets (wine, beer or signature cocktail). In addition, the first 25 brides also will receive a “Bride” tote bag.
Of course there will be a bridal gown fashion gala, to showcase the best of this season’s chic, classic and contemporary designs. But the fun doesn’t stop there!
The event will be set up just like an actual wedding, complete with ceremony and reception. And, since the right wedding professional can take your wedding from mediocre to memorable, local providers will be on hand for a meet-and-greet.
Talk to area caterers and bakeries offering delicious food and cake tastings; meet local entertainers, florists, and photographers and videographers, who all want to give you a day you will never forget.
“This is going to be a really fun event,” said Kerri Pellegrin, founder and owner of The Wedding Collection. “Setting this up like an actual wedding and reception gives our brides-to-be the opportunity to visualize themselves as a bride, maybe for the very first time.
"How exciting is that?”
