Over the past 28 years, the monthly art walk has become one of the most popular events in the region. Old Town stays lively all day, with many merchants and restaurants offering specials. 

​The pace picks up from 4–7 pm, when gallery openings and live music keep the streets humming with activity. ​

Standing at the corner of Main and Second Street adorned with crisp white paint and bright accent colors, The Social Chair is a pillar of the heart of Old Town Bay Saint Louis.

​At the helm of this anchor is designer Yuki Northington, who is excitedly preparing for Social Chair’s 15th anniversary. She’s loved greeting new faces in the community, being recognized more than once as the best gift shop in the state, and being a must-visit shop for locals and tourists alike.
 

  
Join Yuki at The Social Chair on Saturday, June 12, as a Second Saturday Hot Spot and her Quinceanera 15-year celebration. The evening will kick off with music from the Dave Mayley Band from 4 to 7, and drawings will be held every hour for free gifts.
 

 
Even before Second Saturday events begin, shop The Social Chair’s Anniversary Sale all day on Saturday. Come back Saturday evening wearing your tiara and receive 15% off of your entire purchase! Stay and party to find out who will win one of ten Tea Party Grazing Boxes from Almost Home Catering. Yuki and Michelle Nichols, owner of Almost Home Catering, team up monthly to offer grazing boxes to customers and Old Town business owners.
 
​Be ready for a party on the corner of Main and Second Street! 15 years in business is no small accomplishment, and Yuki and her team are ready to celebrate it with all of Old Town Bay Saint Louis.

Returning home can be such a cathartic experience, and for the two owners – and sisters – of Gulf Coast Home, it was just that. After years spent in professional fields in New Orleans, Wendy De Ben and Theresa Lacy have come back home to Bay Saint Louis to set up a shop of their own.

 
Gulf Coast Home sits where the Ulman Tea Room once sat, right in the heart of Ulman Avenue. The exterior is bright and the interior is filled with home goods, gorgeous accessories, outfits and more. 

The warmest part of Gulf Coast Home is the welcome you receive from Wendy and Theresa when you enter their shop. You’re not just a customer; you’re family.

Gulf Coast Home opened in November of 2020 despite the pushback from COVID-19. With a determination only two Bay Saint Louis natives can muster, these sisters were determined to return to the community where they grew up.
 

 
You can shop Gulf Coast Home’s line of home goods and furniture when you visit them during their Second Saturday Hot Spot on June 12 from 4 to 7 pm. There will be live music outside and refreshments for shoppers.
