Put Waveland On the Map
Waveland’s first tenant in the Waveland Business Center, Lime Pi, is partnering with Google to put local businesses and Waveland city offices on the map.
Businesses that have complete business information online are twice as likely to be considered reputable by consumers. The more info customers can find online about local businesses (including yours!), the stronger Waveland becomes. Getting all of your business info online is free and easy. Lime Pi will be hosting an event at the Waveland Business Center, 228 Coleman Avenue, Tuesday, October 6 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. The first forty businesses to register will receive a “Put Waveland on the Map” Google shirt. |

Halloween on Coleman Avenue
Haunted Tree on Mollere Drive
If you drive slowly down Mollere Drive in Waveland you might see a haunted tree complete with characters Luther, Chester, and Winnie the Witch. They have taken up residence in the old, dead tree for the second October in a row.
John Impson, who cleans neighbors’ vacant lots (when he is not running track), took a long look at the dead tree and thought he might have fun with it. He delights in decorating the tree for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. The owners of the lot are friends in Alaska who are pleased to play some small role in what has become a tradition on the street. |
